A Building Crack’d – How Big Is The Problem?

21 August 2019

La Camara’s Corporate Member Squire Patton Boggs held a discussion panel on ‘A Building Crack’d – How Big Is the Problem?’

The panel consisted of leading experts in their respective fields to discuss the current topical issue of Building Defects and how this is impacting the residential construction sector.

Attendees had the opportunity to hear about different perspectives on issues such as the Opal Tower experience, the long-lasting and damaging consequences for owners, the culture in the industry, whether more regulation is the answer and the ways in which owners, developers and builders could seek to minimize their risks.

La Camara would like to thank Avendra Singh and Squire Patton Boggs for partnering with us in this event as well as to Sylvia Fernandez (Vice-President of La Camara) for facilitating the panel discussion. Thank you to all La Camara’s Corporate and Business Members for joining us on that evening.
