La Camara Announces New Board and Leadership Updates

La Camara is pleased to announce its new Board structure, marking the beginning of a new stage for the organisation.

As part of this transition, we would like to express our most sincere appreciation to Sylvia Fernandez for her exceptional service as President of La Camara until the first week of April this year. Throughout her leadership, Sylvia demonstrated a strong commitment to the organisation, providing guidance, dedication, and strategic vision that have been instrumental in the growth and strengthening of our community. In addition, her consistent involvement, close connection with members, and ongoing support to the La Camara team have been fundamental to the organisation’s development.

We are pleased to share that Sylvia will continue to be part of the Board as Secretary, thereby continuing to contribute her experience and insight to the future of La Camara.

At the same time, we warmly welcome Carmen Verdú as the new President of La Camara. Having been a member since June 2022, Carmen brings valuable experience and perspective, and we look forward to her leadership as we continue to strengthen our community and advance our strategic priorities.

We also extend a warm welcome to Guillermo García-Perrote as a new member of the Board.

We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to Brian Satterthwaite for his valuable contribution as a Board Member, whose dedication and support have been greatly appreciated during his time with La Camara.
