Parramatta Light Rail and CAF

For the first time in 80 years, trams carry passengers through the heart of Parramatta.
Doors opened on the new L4 Westmead & Carlingford Line on Friday the 20th of
December. Parramatta Light Rail Stage 1 connects Westmead to Carlingford via the
Parramatta CBD and Camellia, with a two-way track spanning 12 kilometres and 16 light
rail stops.

The $2.875 billion Parramatta Light Rail Stage 1 project is now complete, with CAF playing
a key role with the delivery of the rail systems, light rails and integration. CAF will also
operate and maintain the system with his partner Transdev.

CAF is pleased of continuing delivering transport solutions to NSW with Parramatta Light
Rail, a game changing project for Western Sydney. The strong partnership between
TfNSW and CAF has made possible to deliver a complex project that will change the way
of commuting for millions of people.
