Renewable Energy & Infrastructure Forum – Brisbane Edition

Renewable Energy & Infrastructure Forum – Brisbane Edition

On 3 September, La Camara brought together government, industry and business leaders at RSM Australia in Brisbane for our Renewable Energy & Infrastructure Forum – Brisbane Edition.

From the infrastructure and workforce needed to deliver Brisbane 2032, to grid modernisation, renewable generation, energy storage and the opportunities for regional communities, the day highlighted the scale of what lies ahead for Queensland — and the importance of collaboration in making it happen.

A big thank you to all our speakers, panellists, moderators and attendees for sharing their expertise, insights and perspectives throughout the day.

We were delighted to hear from Damon Hall, Lillian Ajuria, Bianca Park, Caitlyn Kranz, Mariano Villaescusa and Cr Andrew Wines, who shared valuable insights on infrastructure, workforce, investment, innovation, regional development and Brisbane’s transport future.

Our panel discussions brought together Damian Long, Ron Kessels, Jorge Bernal and Carlos Antonio Granados García, moderated by Miguel Castro, to explore Brisbane 2032 and workforce capacity; Ismael Atencia Payares, Sayidul Morsalin, Marcus Dowling and Juan Miguel Gutierrez, moderated by Rosa Fraile Dacosta, to discuss Australia’s renewable energy transition; and Marcus Rees, Sedat Erol and Mariano Villaescusa, moderated by Rod Noel, to explore how major projects can deliver meaningful and lasting benefits for regional communities.

A special thank you to Leonardo Jaque Freire and the RSM Australia team for their support as our Gold Sponsor and for hosting us at their Brisbane offices.
