Boardroom lunch with Amy Kean – NSW Renewable Energy Advocate

Our corporate members joined us for a lunch with Amy Kean, NSW Renewable Energy Advocate.

Amy Kean is Australia’s first Renewable Energy Advocate, a position appointed under the NSW Renewable Energy Action Plan. The Advocate works across government, industry, academic institutions and communities in order to facilitate the deployment and generation of renewable energy in NSW.

Amy has worked in the renewable energy industry for 18 years in policy and the private sector, both nationally and internationally.

Previously, she established the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP) in the Asia-Pacific region at the Clean Energy Council. She has also worked at Pinpoint (Mastercard), Hydro Tasmania, NSW SEDA and Accenture.

Amy has a Bachelor of Science & Arts and is completing a Masters of Environmental Law. She is a fellow of the Centre for Sustainability Leadership. She is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has held a variety of board positions.
