To respond to the seasonal needs of labor within the agricultural sector, the Government has approved a decree-law provides flexibility in the hiring of:
-Unemployed.
-Workers currently receiving a subsidy, agricultural income or an unemployment benefit -who may make it compatible with the agricultural work carried out in this extraordinary period.
-Legally resident foreigners – whose work permit will be renewed if it ends before June 30.
-Young foreigners aged between 18 and 21 years who will be provided with work permit so they can join these tasks.
Workers must be hired in the same municipality in which they reside or, where appropriate, in areas adjacent to limit displacement.
